HOW TO HELP
ANGELS SUPPORT GROUP

Angels Support Group is a Registered Charity and non-profit making organisation. All our activities are funded by corporate donations, independent grant-makers or individual donors.

We are extremely grateful to The National Lottery Community Fund, and Hertfordshire Community Foundation for funding major parts of our services. We are also very grateful to have receieved funding from Herts County Councillors from their Locality Budgets; from Judi Billing, Sharon Taylor, Josh Bennett Lovell, and Simon Bloxham.

We are currently The White Stuff Foundation’s Charity of the Year for their Hitchin branch, who regularly arrange events with proceeds going to us. Our members are a huge inspiration organising fundraising events with all of the proceeds going to the work of the Charity.

Thank you to all the support we receive to keep these vital services running and available to all our members.

If you are able to make a donation, as a one-off or a regular donation, please do so through our Virgin Money Giving page. A large number of charities are now using Virgin Money Giving as it allows charities to collect a higher proportion of donations than other well-known online giving services, and manages Gift Aid for us. Every donation makes a difference.

For other ways to donate to Angels, please contact us, by email to Raine@angelssupportgroup.org.uk, by phone on 01462 685150, or by post to Angels Support Group, Unit 19, Pixmore Business Centre, Bird’s Hill, Letchworth Garden City, Herts SG6 1JG. Cheques can be made payable to Angels Support Group Hitchin.

  • £24 pays for 1 creche place for a support group session.

  • £30 pays for 1 member to attend a support group session.

Help Angels raise money to support families simply by registering with easyfundraising.org.uk.

Using easyfundraising is just about the simplest way to raise money for charity. So far over £440 has been raised for Angels!

With over 2000 retailers who have all agreed to pass a donation to the charity of your choice when you shop with them.

The donation is usually a percentage of how much you spend with them but it can also be a set amount, such as £30 for a new car insurance policy from Aviva.

Retailers include Amazon, M&S, Boden, John Lewis, Argos and 2000 other well known names.

If you are a regular user of Amazon, you can sign up to Amazon Smile, and select Angels as your charity, and Amazon will donate 0.5% of all your purchases to Angels.
