Updated Monday 30th March 2020
Angels Support Group would like to reassure all our members that we will continue to offer support throughout the coming weeks as we deal with Coronavirus. We want to make sure everyone is kept as safe as possible.
We are following government advice to self-isolate and practice social distancing as appropriate, and so all of the team are now working from home.
As a result, we will need to make changes to some of our services.
Support Group Meetings
Due to Government advice given that we should avoid non-essential contact, we are running our meetings online, using an app called Zoom. This app can be used on smart phones, tablets or laptops/PCs and is free to download. This way we can still keep in touch and share ideas and experiences, and see each other, even if only through a screen. We are intending on following our usual meeting times (Tuesday 10am-12, Wednesday 12.30-2.30pm), and this week will run meetings on Zoom at those times, on Tuesday 31st March (10am-12) and Wednesday 1st April (12.30-2.30pm).
All members have been emailed with full details on how to access meetings. If you haven’t recieved this email it could be because you haven’t given us consent to email you. If this is the case please can you fill out the consent form here
Alternatively we may not have an up-to-date email address for you. If you think this is the case please email Kirsten@angelssupportgroup.org.uk and she can check whether the details we have are correct.
This is the last week before the Easter holidays, and we won’t run support group meetings during the holidays but will be planning a full programme of meetings and workshops on Zoom for the Summer term.
If you have a One-to-One appointment booked you will be contacted by Kirsten to arrange how best we can complete this, for example, we may need to do it via phone or video calling on What’s App or Zoom. If you would like to book a One-to-One appointment please email email@example.com
